Interior Sauna Site Requirements

The following are site and service requirements for fitting a Helo Sauna

Space - A minimum of 50mm width and depth and 100mm height, greater than the sauna.

Floor - A level floor with water impervious covering, e.g. tiles, vinyl etc. The Saunas have no floor but are supplied with a removable duckboard for standing area only.

Heater - An electrical supply of suitable amperage, with independent isolator (pull cord in bathroom), run to a position adjacent to sauna for final connection by fitters.

Light - A lighting tail with remote switch (pull cord in bathroom), run to a position at high level adjacent to sauna for final connection by fitters.

Ventilation - The sauna has it's own ventilation system with inlet below the heater and outlet ducted in rear wall. Air may be drawn and expelled to the same area, which should be conventionally ventilated. If open sauna walls are panelled in (creating a "sealed void") a grill 200mm square is required in fascia above cabin.

Please Note:
  • The exterior walls only may be treated with preservative
  • Window panels must not be specified above sauna heater
  • Corner door kit requires carpentry to "cut" into standard cabin - instructions provided
  • top.gifSteamy heater with automatic feed will require a mains water feed with stop valve adjacent to sauna
  • SoftHot Saunas may be reduced in size in 85mm steps or modified (e.g. sloping roof, recess etc.) during installation - please send a drawing for quotation
